Thank You to all Writers and Readers

The relationship of writers and readers is symbiotic and wonderful. Without one, the other does not exist. Imagination and interpretation coexist to create the wonder of the experience of books.

I want to extend my thanks to all writers and readers!

Please Remember the D-Day Invasion

Please let us all take a moment and remember the sacrifices of those men, often little more than boys, who took part in the largest military invasion in the history of humanity: Operation Overlord. Thanks to their courage, they were able to begin the end of Hitler’s reign of terror in Europe. The invasion began on June 6, 1944 and lasted until the middle of July in 1944.

Many soldiers from a variety of countries lost their lives during this campaign, and today several cemeteries exist to honor those who fell. One such sacred place is the Normandy American Cemetery.

To all who fought to defeat Fascism, I give my thanks.

Thank you to all writers!

To all the writers out there who are working hard, who are drafting and revising, submitting and self-publishing, thank you! You are the conscience of society, the teller of tales, and the creators of myth. So, from one writer to other writers: thanks!

Thank you to the cover designer of my book: Judy Bullard!

My book has made it into the world, and I want to thank various people who have helped me in a number of ways. A novel, like many other creative endeavors, is not simply the work of one person.

Judy Bullard, Custom Ebook Covers , is the woman who helped me, guided me, and ultimately designed the cover for my book.  She is talented and was very patient with a new and uncertain author.  I commend not only her work on the cover but also her kindness.

The cover of Maledicus: The Investigative Paranormal Society Book I is, in my opinion, a work of beauty, of terror, and of impact. I am as happy as I possibly can be with Judy’s efforts, and I recommend her highly! Please visit her site.

Maledicus: The Investigative Paranormal Society Book I by Charles F. French is now available on Amazon:

Rest In Peace Muhammad Ali

Rest In Peace to the Greatest, Muhammad Ali (1942-2016). He was not only the greatest heavyweight boxing champion of all time, but also Muhammad Ali stood for his convictions, opposed the Vietnam War at a time when such actions were highly controversial, and eventually after his boxing career ended, became an ambassador for peace and humanity.

Much will be said and written about him now, so I leave with a simple message of thanks for his courage, his athletic ability, but must of all for his honor and sense of justice.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! Remember to recognize the positives and the blessings in your life.

Enjoy your feasts, your gatherings, and your traditions.  And please remember to give thanks to those who help us in many ways. So many are away from home, friends, and family, and we should all give them a moment of thanks for their service.

To my friends and family–thank you!
