Today is National Doctors’ Day, and I want to thank physicians for all they do and are doing to help us in this pandemic.

I also want to  extend the day to thank all of the other health care professionals, from nurses, aides, technicians, emts, and to anyone else I may have forgotten to include.

You are our contemporary heroes.

I humbly thank you.

Please Honor Veterans Day

Standard

corp

Today is Veterans Day, and I simply wanted to offer my thank you to all the men and women who have served or are serving our country in the Armed Forces.

This day began with Armistice Day, November 11, 1918, which ended the First World War. Congress formalized Armistice Day as a national holiday in 1938. After World War II and The Korean War, the day was renamed Veterans Day, and it serves as a time to honor all of those who have served or are serving.

Please let it be a day of honor and thanks, not one of special sales deals. It is a day to recognize the commitment, duty, sacrifice, and service of the men and women who have served or are serving in the Armed Forces.

I want to offer a thank you to all of the bloggers out there whom I have had the honor of meeting in my journey in the blogging world. When I first began this site several years ago, I had no idea what would happen. One of the greatest joys of this experience has been meeting and connecting with other bloggers!

I have found that this is an inclusive, welcoming, friendly, and intelligent world. I am honored to have such bloggers as friends, and I thank you for your contributions to the world of writing and blogging. I thank you for the wonderful blogs you have created, for the posts you have written, and for the friendship you have offered.

I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday season!

Again, bloggers, thank you!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Please remember to recognize the positives and the blessings in your lives.

Enjoy your feasts, your gatherings, and your traditions. And please remember to give thanks to those who help us in many ways. So many are away from home, friends, and family, and we should all give them a moment of thanks.

Please try to remember those who are less fortunate, and try to find some kindness and to continue to spread it throughout the year.

To my friends, including my many blogging friends, and family, –thank you!

I would also like to ask all of you:  For what are you thankful?

Thank You to Readers!

I want to say thank you to all the people who read! As a person who loves to read, I think that reading is crucial to society and one of the great joys of life.  It gives us a chance to walk in other people’s shoes, to experience what they do, and to expand our experience of the world.

As a writer, I also want to say thank you to readers, because without readers, writing,  books, and literature do not exist. The act of reading is a collaboration between the creators of the words of books and the readers who experience and interpret them.

So, to all who read, thank you very much!
