As this year is approaching its end, I have been thinking about what I am thankful for. I am deeply grateful for my family, including the extended one, and my friends. Additionally, I am extremely grateful for are my readers on this blog. You are a disparate group, but you are also unfailingly intelligent, kind, and civil. I have also made several friendships here with people who live far away, and I value those connections.

  12. Happy New Year Charles! Thank you for your gifts to me, on many fronts – (blog and books!) and well – Perhaps, I’ll get better at Writing Right in 2023 – but if I don’t? Well certainly NOT your fault! LOL Thanks for your posts that allow me the window into that age old dream, here and there, over and over – I may ‘get there’ I may not ever, but I surely appreciate the forum you provide , to be on the fringes of such ‘ways of being’ and to learn from – ❤
