Dear Charles and Sue,
Here is my Quotations on Books.
Chinese proverb:
書中自有黃金屋
書中自有顏如玉
Literally: A book holds a house of gold. A book holds a face as smooth as jade.
Proverb: If you study hard, you will become successful, and be able to afford to buy a big house. If you study hard, you will be successful, and a beautiful woman will want to marry you.
lit.: In books are sumptuous houses and graceful ladies.
fig.: Be diligent in your studies, success and glory will follow.

Dear Charles,
You are very welcome. I appreciate the sentiment and tenet of your post as I have been a fine book collector, having about ten large bookshelves and a few small ones.
Thank you for visiting and liking my post entitled “🎴 If My Name Were Moon Tonight… 🌛🌝🎑🈷 with Clair de Lune 🌕”, where I hope that you have had a chance to watch my dynamic animation produced in high resolution (1920 x 1280) at https://soundeagle.wordpress.com/2020/10/10/if-my-name-were-moon-tonight-with-clair-de-lune/

All of the quotes are good, but I’ll have to go with Cicero’s as my favorite.

I flew to Botswana last year, Charles, with my first edition of She by Rider Haggard in my laptop bag, carefully enclosed in a plastic protective envelop. I also carry my ipad with my store of ebooks everywhere and my iphone with my store of audiobooks.
