My new book, “Apples of Gold, Timely Advice When the World Doesn’t Seem Lovely,” just came out in October in Kindle and paperback formats. The audiobook will be released later this month. The book is a series of vignettes and poems that explore the idea of sifting the blessings out of the grit and grime of everyday life during difficult times. https://www.amazon.com/Apples-Gold-Timely-Advice-Doesnt/dp/B08KH2K899/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Apples+of+Gold%3A+Timely+Advice+When+the+World+Doesn%27t+Seem+Lovely&qid=1605053086&s=books&sr=1-1

“Crimes & Impunity in New Orleans” follows the dramatic story of naive, sheltered Shelly going to “The Big Easy” to prepare for El Salvador, but has no idea she will encounter sexism and witness racism as well as illegal activities by government agents.

Author, Sherrie Miranda’s husband made the trailer for “Crimes & Impunity in New Orleans.” He wrote the music too.
My 1st review:
5.0 out of 5 stars
She has lived this story
The author is writing about what she has lived. It is accurate picture of New Orleans in the 1980s, and today in a certain way. Hope she gets the attention of those who want to learn about New Orleans on the ground level.

Hi Charles,
I can’t resist taking you up on your offer – I have the occasional moments of sanity. As a long time scribbler, I’ve a variety of books on the market but I’d love for you to mention my Year in the Life series– psychological thrillers – or as some labelled it ‘domestic noir’, which makes it sound so posh and Nordic!
About me? Lived in eight countries, survived riots, observed a public hanging, broadcast live with a bayonet at my neck, ran a rock band, met Mandela and Prince Charles, wrote for years for the South African Broadcasting Company, moved from radio to television and eventually had my own video company before retiring from Africa to Spain. Now I don’t write to order but for myself and I couldn’t have asked for a worse boss – she’s awful, never lets me have a day off and sets impossible deadlines.

I have a promo running last week of November when my memoir Walking over Eggshells will be $/£0.99. Contains the story of all of the blurb above while desperately escaping a childhood of mental abuse. myBook.to/WoE
Sorry, I have no idea how I get pictures in here!
