October Promote Your Book Party!

It is now early Autumn, and it is time once again for a book promotion party!

I want to offer an opportunity for all writers who follow this blog to share information on their books. It can be very difficult to generate publicity for our writing, so I thought this little effort might help. All books may be mentioned, and there is no restriction on genre. This encompasses fiction, poetry, plays, and non-fiction. If I have neglected to mention a genre, please consider it to be included.

To participate, simply give your name, your book, information about it, and where to purchase it in the comments section. Then please be willing to reblog and/or tweet this post. The more people that see it, the more publicity we can generate for everyone’s books. I will continue to do these parties every few weeks.

Thank you for participating!

Promote your books!

Spread the word!

Keep on writing!

  1. Thanks again, Charles, for your tireless work on behalf of emerging and independently published authors.

Last July, I published a book of short, mostly lighthearted vignettes detailing my adventures as the blind mom of a sighted daughter. The book is available in paperback, Kindle, and audio formats on Amazon.com. https://www.amazon.com/Daddy-Wont-Let-Mom-Drive-ebook/dp/B07VQ9GRWC/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=Daddy+Won%27t+Let+Mom+Drive+the+Car&qid=1569902790&s=books&sr=1-1

  2. My novel Mystical Greenwood is an epic fantasy with magic, gryphons, and a strong emphasis on the sacred value of Nature. A young boy’s life changes forever as he embarks on a journey by which he discovers something special–about Nature and himself. The book is available in paperback, Kindle, and Nook, and was a Finalist for the 2019 American Fiction Award for Epic/High Fantasy, sponsored by American Book Fest.

  3. Thanks Charles! What a great party! Love the leafy lane decorations. And all of the book covers. I’m sure the cake will be luchious. I’ll have some in a minute. Since you asked about my upcoming book: It’s “Dr. Bob’s Emotional Repair Program First Aid Kit” the official release day is Nov. 1st – half of the book is graphic novel style illustrations and the whole book is about ways to deal well with ones own emotions. I’m quite pleased with how it turned out. Got my early-reader copies a few days ago. I was pleased that my effort at making the text dyslexic friendly seemed to work! What? You want to know what age group this book is aimed for? Young Adults primarily. There is humor in the book of course. Anyway, young-adults are the target however it has seemed that people can have trouble with their emotions no matter what their age. Nice party you have going here. Thanks for inviting me. Now where did you say the cake was? Huh? (it’s hard to hear in here sorry) Oh, you want a link to my book? Here ya go: https://store.bookbaby.com/bookshop/book/index.aspx?bookURL=Dr-Bobs-Emotional-Repair-Program-First-Aid-Kit1 You can also see more about it on my blog and website http://www.sueclancy.com
    Thanks again!

  4. Thanks Charles. Here’s one of mine that’s gaining some good reviews. ‘Finding David’ is a paranormal short story that readers seem to like:

When Karen and Mick Curtis attend a demonstration of clairvoyance for the first time, Karen is singled out by the medium, Rae Cordelle. Rae has a message from Karen’s son David, who passed over to the spirit world many years before. The message shocks Karen and sends her on a journey of discovery, rocking her previously happy relationship with second husband Mick, David’s stepfather.

Thank you, Charles, for this opportunity. I’m a retired elementary teacher who wrote a combination memoir/advice book for future teachers. I gave thirty-one years to something I loved—children. I feel a responsibility to pass on what I’ve learned to the next generation of teachers.

  6. Hi Charles,

    Thanks for this opportunity.

Following is information and an Amazon link to my latest novel, “Micromium-Clean Energy from Mars.” This illustrated novella is available in ebook, print, and audio formats. Information about my other novels is available at http://www.davidgittlin.com.

The year is 2038. Earth’s biosphere is on the brink of destruction from the effects of global warming and pollution. The World Energy Council has awarded a lucrative contract to a major US corporation to mine a precious ore discovered by the first manned mission to land on Mars. One kilo of Micromium can power a large city for a year without environmental side effects. Micromium promises to provide clean energy to a thirsty planet far into the future.

When two people die in a mining accident on Mars, the World Energy Council sends Commander Logan Marchant and a crack team of astronaut specialists to investigate.

Confronted with a lack of cooperation from the mining colonists, the investigation is further complicated by Logan’s growing attraction to the team’s beautiful and brainy geologist. While tensions and tempers rise, Logan and the audit team make one shocking discovery after another, until the investigation leads them into mortal danger, and ultimately, to a surprising conclusion.
