How kind. The goal is ten but I thank you and it is good to be reminded that over the weeks and months it will build up into, hopefully a book.

You are welcome, and yes, you will have a book!

As you know, but perhaps not some of the young ones, a goal is a direction not a weapon to beat yourself up with. Happy writing.

So true. Nice reminder. I shoot for 2000 words (about 8 pages) and I break up my writing time in two sessions. Don’t forget to write today 🙂

I wrote a review of a manuscript sent to me by a fellow Word Press writer. I have not started a book, I am a poet. I do have a an ebook of poetry free online from three years ago, it is battered and bruise from downloads, that makes me feel pretty good. 🙂

That is wonderful, and have you considered putting a book of poetry together for publication?

Yes, I am going to do that. Thank you Charles!

286 words so far today, probably more to come yet. I don’t shoot for a daily word count, but a weekly one of 2500. Some weeks I can manage 4 times that, some weeks very little, but it works out in the end.

That is an excellent plan.

Yes I write every day. 65k words in a draft that needs a rewriting and restructuring and 100+ flash fiction and some short stories. Now I need to add a daily edit/rewrite goal to take some of this across the finish line. Thanks for asking.

2:30 in the darn morning today. Some mornings I get to 3:30 or even 4. I’ll either do morning pages or start writing my story for my kids. There are things they want to know. 😉

I was going to write something else today, but I had other things to do. So, I will write a haiku for my blog tonight!

If only I wrote 300-words per day on the same project, I’d be sorted. 🙂

Yes, I know I need to focus on one thing at a time. I’m just not very good at doing it.
