“You must write every single day of your life… You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfumes and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads… may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world.”

                                                                                 Ray Bradbury

“That’s what fiction is for. It’s for getting at the truth when the truth isn’t sufficient for the truth.”

                                                                                 Tim O’Brien

“Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration, the rest of us just get up and go to work.”

                                                                                Stephen King

  1. So many writers are offended by that first quote, and the idea that we should write every day as writers. I believe it’s true. It won’t always be for our blogs, or our books, but I can’t imagine a writer going a day or days without putting literal or figurative pen to paper. I would go mad, I’m sure!
