I find the ideas expressed in this post to be especially important in our current world.

I am an unapologetic idealist, a dreamer, and an optimist. As a writer and teacher, I find these qualities to be essential. I continue to see ways to improve the world, no matter how many losses or setbacks occur.

We must always stand up for what is right, what is worth fighting for, and those who cannot fight for themselves.

  1. I don’t know that people will ever let go of their religion especially when they think theirs is the only one that’s right. I’d like to see a world without countries where you can go freely. The narcissists of the world just can’t abide that.

  2. I find it distressing though that so many of the critics of idealism infer that to be idealistic is to NOT have one’s feet in reality…When it means quite the opposite: that we acknowledge our reality and refuse to accept it’s limitations!
