      • You’ve made me blush. I’m a German whose mother lived through that nightmare. It touches me so profoundly, you would think I had been there too. Passing Dachau with her 15 years ago, every hair on my body stood on end. I hit the gas pedal and just drove faster. Didn’t happen anywhere else I drove by while there.

      • I certainly don’t want you to feel uncomfortable. I think, however, what you said is very important, and I would like to use that sentence “There is hope as long as there are good people in the world willing to risk all for others.” in my blog. I will of course credit you for it. But please, may I have you permission first. I would never simply use it without that.
