He did it in a big way. Many did it in smaller ways. There is hope as long as there are good people in the world willing to risk all for others.

You’ve made me blush. I’m a German whose mother lived through that nightmare. It touches me so profoundly, you would think I had been there too. Passing Dachau with her 15 years ago, every hair on my body stood on end. I hit the gas pedal and just drove faster. Didn’t happen anywhere else I drove by while there.

I certainly don’t want you to feel uncomfortable. I think, however, what you said is very important, and I would like to use that sentence “There is hope as long as there are good people in the world willing to risk all for others.” in my blog. I will of course credit you for it. But please, may I have you permission first. I would never simply use it without that.
