The need to create “something” is universal in every person, but writers, painters, musicians, artisans, and dancers seem to have the ability from birth to be able to extrapolate extraordinary tales out of thin air. Creativity is like putting a seashell to the ear and hearing oceans of poetry, symphonies, and the sounds of colors colliding on canvas…It haunts and nags and taunts until fingers settle on keys or strings or brushes. It’s not that other people can’t hear it all…It’s that they’ve rationalized why it doesn’t matter.
