  1. Supposedly the attackers are reveling in “paralyzing” France. I don’t see paralysis. I see a very capable, very specific and directed response to a crisis. One should never mistake shock for defeat, or reaction to inability to act again. Vive la France! They have already survived so much worse.

  2. As a 20+ year survivor of a terrorist attack I can say there is only one word that will stand the test of time in the wake of acts of violence such as these … compassion. One act of compassion can overcome a million acts of evil.

  3. I don’t understand how anyone can see doing something so horrible to other human beings as something to be proud of or happy about. I really just don’t get all the cruelty. My prayers and light go out to all those affected by this tragedy. *smh
